Acer palmatum “Butterfly”

Acer palmatum ‘Butterfly’ commonly known as Japanese maple ‘Butterfly’ makes a gorgeous small tree bearing light green,five-lobed leaves speckled with cream and pink hues the leaves become edged with a pink colour in autumn and the cream areas turn a vibrant  ruby before falling.

Foliage colour is best in part shade, although full sun can be tolerated

Grow in moist but well-drained, acid or neutral soil

Water regularly
